Brigitte Gabriel lost her childhood to militant Islam. In 1975 she was 10 years old and living in Southern Lebanon when militant Muslims from throughout the Middle East poured into her country and declared jihad against the Lebanese Christians, which became the first front in a worldwide jihad of fundamentalist Islam against non-Muslim peoples. For seven years, Brigitte and her parents lived in an underground bomb shelter, without running water or electricity and very little food. Because They Hate is a political wake-up call. Brigitte warns that the United States is threatened by fundamentalist Islamic theology in the same way Lebanon was - radical Islam will stop at nothing short of domination of all non-Muslim countries. Fiercely articulate and passionately committed, Gabriel tells her own story as well as outlines the history, social movements, and religious divisions that have led to this critical historical conflict.

das Buch gibt dem Leser einen realistischen Einblick in die Lebensgeschichte der Frau Gabriel. Diese erzählt über die gewaltvolle und grausame Verfolgung von Christen in Libanon. Sehr hörenswert!

Das Buch ist eine Autobiographie, die mich zu Tränen gerührt hat. Herzzerreißend und jederzeit spannend erzählt Brigitte Gabriel ihr Leben im Libanon, in dem sie in einer heilen Welt lebte. Welche plötzlich in Stücke zerbrach durch muslimische Flüchtlinge aus Palästina, die systematisch insbesondere die Christen terrorisieren und abschlachten. Das gleiche Schicksal könnte auch Deutschland durch die muslimischen Flüchtlinge bevorstehen. Schon aus diesem Grund ist das Hörbuch topaktuell und höchstinteressant . Und sollte in deutschen Schulen ab 7.
Klasse zur Pflichtlektüre erklärt werden. Aber ich vergaß an öffentlichen Schulen wird nichts nützliches gelehrt . Nur langweiliger nutzloser Kram a la Schiller und Wedekind oder Müll wie von Franz Kafka . So das einem auch die letzte Lust auf das Lesen (oder Hören) vergeht .
