Scripture: Psalm 121:7–8 (KJV) — “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Prayer Themes • Protection • Comfort • Faith Welcome to Daily Prayer. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Join us live from London, England, as we bring this day to a close and place our concerns before the God of Israel, our faithful keeper. Perhaps you are thinking about someone who is far from home tonight. Perhaps you are concerned about the safety of your family, the uncertainty of tomorrow or circumstances beyond your control. Even when the day is finished, the heart does not always find it easy to rest. Psalm 121 is a song of trust in the Lord who watches over His people. It reminds us that the God who made heaven and earth does not grow weary. These words call us to confidence in His faithful care, not to the belief that those who trust Him will never encounter hardship. Across our international prayer family, we remember listeners in Hungary, Romania, Russia, Egypt, Ukraine, Zambia and Liberia. Whether you are preparing for sleep, beginning work or travelling through the day, may this prayer remind you that you are not forgotten. Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we place our families and communities into Your hands. Lord Jesus, draw near to those who feel frightened, those travelling and those living through difficult circumstances. Holy Spirit, bring comfort to troubled hearts, wisdom to those making decisions about safety and courage to those facing an uncertain tomorrow. Help us care for one another, act responsibly and trust that Your presence remains with us through every changing season. May the Lord strengthen your faith, surround you with His peace and remind you of His faithful love throughout the night. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha.
