"Richness" A story by Lenny ToccoA historical retelling of a fictitious Gilded Age Family. "Richness" examines how a fortune can mold life, predicting and manifesting its future. The story opens in 1895 on the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean in Newport, Rhode Island, at the mansion of the Vanderflecks. The first chapter comes out swinging, showing the disturbing acts of racial insensitivity, strong sexual content, and the power of money!Kensington the First has just passed and left the largest fortune in history to his granddaughter Gertrude, who in turn marries the son of yet another industrial magnate and their combined wealth now doubles. The power of money extends from the coast of The Battery in New York through to Newport, Rhode Island. Its opulence fuels corruption from other outside "families." The ride begins to protect and secure the inheritance! The wolves circle their prey. It's a murderous tale of positioning to inherit the fortune of a lifetime, at any cost.Stay on board for this page-turner as it examines The Great Depression, the effects of War, and The Great New England Hurricane of 1938, that nearly devastated their domain. Ready yourself for the power of generational wealth and fortune. Ready yourself for an immersion into these times.Ready yourself for the occult.Welcome to my fictitious world of the Vanderflecks: See who will survive to inherit the "Richness."Copyright Lenny Tocco 2023©2024 PIECE OF MY HEART FOUNDATION (P)2026 PIECE OF MY HEART FOUNDATION Drachen & Fabelwesen Fantasy Krimis
