Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded and edited, and it's ready to help you wrap up the week with another dose of nonsense and shenanigans. On this week's episode of Real Life, the guys discussed the Oilers' three-game winning streak, games behind a paywall, and baseball foul ball etiquette.

The guys kicked off this week's episode of Real Life with a recap of the Oilers' three-game winning streak and how the last three games have been a marked change from the season opener. The guys then dug into a tweet Tyler put out on Saturday that highlighted Yaremchuk math in the best possible way. As you'll hear, multiplying games by two points to figure out potential points totals can be trickier than you'd think. From there, the guys spoke about Monday night games being put behind a paywall, and how the NHL seems hell bent on making it as hard as possible to watch.

Changing gears, Wanye wanted to talk about the Gavin McKenna ad with Rogers, and whether the league will ever clamp down on players doing deals, especially with rights holders. That led to some of the shady deals that have come out in the NBA over the years, and whether the NHL is just the next league to get caught for shady dealings. That led to Chalmers talking about Jalen Brunson hosting the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, and how it was fun to see an athlete put himself out there like he did.

Finally, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with random collection of topics, starting with Chalmers' history lesson of loving SNL. That led the guys to wonder how much these folks make, and how intense the schedule can be. From there, the guys discussed a baseball controversy after a Dodgers fan who caught a foul ball refused to give it to a young fan from a section over. Lastly, the conversation turned to when it's appropriate to bring a sign to an Oilers game, and if there are any rules for the signs that must be abided by.
