Former Ireland and Ulster rugby player Ryan Caldwell joined the lads this week to talk about his new book White Lines, and the life behind it.
Ryan told us about falling in love with rugby as a kid in Belfast, chasing that dream all the way to Ulster, Ireland and the Premiership, and the identity that came with being known as a hard player on the pitch. But behind the career was a body breaking down through pain, injuries and concussions, and a mental toll that was becoming harder to ignore.
He spoke openly about depression, addiction, the end of his rugby career, time in prison, and the long road back from a place where he could not see a future for himself. Ryan shared how he rebuilt his life, and why telling his story now has already connected with so many men who are struggling in silence.
