Mindsight expert and Harvard-educated consciousness pioneer Dr. Edith Ubuntu Chan reveals how she trains children and adults to develop extrasensory abilities including blindfold vision, remote viewing, telekinesis, and spoon bending, challenging conventional ideas about the limits of human perception in episode 265 of the Far Out with Faust podcast.

Dr. Edith is a Harvard-trained mathematician, holistic Chinese medicine doctor, author, and founder of the nonprofit Luminous Human Institute, where her work focuses on consciousness and expanded human abilities. She created the Luminous Kids Blindfold Vision Training and Luminous Adult Blindfold Training programs and serves as an expert consultant to CUSAC’s Mindsight research project. She is also the author of SuperWellness, featuring a foreword by Wim Hof, and has been featured by CNN, Yoga Journal, and numerous consciousness and wellness platforms.

In this fascinating conversation, Dr. Edith takes Faust through the remarkable evolution of her work, from first discovering extraocular vision to watching her five-year-old son read while blindfolded and ultimately developing a training methodology used with hundreds of children, parents, and adults. Along the way, she shares what those experiences have revealed about perception, intuition, telepathy, and the mental programming that may be limiting our abilities. The conversation then expands into AI, consciousness, and the possibility that the most important technology humans develop next may be the one already built into us.

In this episode:
• Seeing Without Your Eyes? The breakthrough that began with a five-year-old, a blindfold, and a result no one expected.
• What’s Behind the Wall? How a perception exercise crosses into remote viewing when the target moves out of sight and into another room.
• Reading Through Your Feet? The strange way extrasensory perception may extend far beyond the eyes.
• The Telepathic Teen: A mysterious message, an unexpected connection, and a new direction for the work.
• Nine Days in Total Darkness: The practice Aaron Rodgers helped bring into the mainstream, and what happens when sight disappears for days at a time.
• Spoons, Telekinesis & More: Why seemingly impossible exercises may matter far more than the “parlor tricks” themselves.
• Can You Heal a Cracked Egg? One of the strangest mind-over-matter exercises in the adult workshops.
• Could AI Become Conscious? The provocative distinction between artificial intelligence and the abilities humans may be forgetting.
• Your Inner Technology: Why intuition, discernment, and telepathy could become more important as the external world gets increasingly intelligent.

The most extraordinary intelligence in our future may not be artificial at all.
