- A color photograph in a polypropylene archival sleeve labeled "original - do not discard - T.R. age 52" was found in a drainage culvert on Millstone Loop.
- Rachel Jenkins discovered the sleeve while walking a Labrador named Biscuit in early November 2019.
- Sixty-four identical photographs, each labeled with the same initials and different ages, were stored together in a shoebox in a storage unit.
- Tracy Russo had lived in the same house on Creekside Terrace for nineteen years and worked eleven years as an administrative coordinator at a pediatric dental clinic.
- Ryan Carter introduced himself at Tracy’s mailbox at 6:45 a.m. in March 2018, had moved belongings into her house by August 2018, and by June 2018 had been given a key to her home.
