Barry welcomes Pennsylvania State Treasurer and Republican gubernatorial candidate Stacy Garrity for an extended conversation about the state’s economy, rising taxes and the policies of Governor Josh Shapiro. Garrity discusses Pennsylvania’s spending, the state’s growing budget deficit, alleged Medicaid fraud and the challenges facing small businesses. She lays out her proposals to reduce property taxes, lower electricity and utility bills, provide rebates to drivers and eliminate certain property taxes for seniors, veterans and first responders on fixed incomes. Barry also presses Garrity on mental health facilities, drug addiction in Philadelphia, trade schools, educational standards and the need to improve public safety across the Commonwealth.
