WNBA News, Connecticut Sun Farewell, Final Seeding Drama & First-Round Playoff Preview

Sylvia and Madeleine host Double Drivel, a mother-daughter WNBA podcast, covering late-season news, Connecticut Sun history, final-week games, standings, and playoff matchups. They note Fever guard Ty Harris will miss the rest of the season with a broken fibula and discuss recent and potential coaching changes (including the Sparks firing Lynn Roberts and possible turnover with the Sun, Sky, Liberty, Mercury, and Storm). They reflect on the Sun’s franchise legacy from the Orlando Miracle through Mohegan Tribe ownership and their final Connecticut home win before relocating to Houston. Game highlights include seeding swings (Valkyries’ one-point win amid a non-challenge/technical; Mystics earning the 5-seed; Atlanta holding 4th), Wings results vs Mercury and Storm, and Fever–Lynx split. They preview first-round series (Lynx–Liberty, Valkyries–Wings, Aces–Fever, Dream–Mystics), plus records and stat leaders led by A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Mitchell, Alyssa Thomas, and Angel Reese.
