After three Earth expeditions vanish on Mars, Captain Wilder leads a fourth mission to a silent, ancient Martian city. As the explorers confront the traces of a vanished civilization, the journey becomes a thoughtful drama about discovery, respect, and the consequences newcomers may bring to an unfamiliar world. The September 22 broadcast was a repeat of the program first heard on April 22, 1955.
