A pencilled message appears on a vicarage wall in Essex, addressed to the rector's wife, and stops mid-sentence.
Adam, Oz and Frank take on Borley Rectory: the bricked-up nun nobody can find a record of, the Foysters and the writing on the walls, Harry Price renting the whole house and advertising in The Times for observers, the fire of 1939, and the 1956 book that accused Price of faking most of it. Marianne Foyster later admitted she faked some of it, though her story changed depending on who was asking.
Everyone who set foot in that house came out with a different story, and every one of them was sure.
