Four law-enforcement officers were killed, and Archaga Carías disappeared. But what happened after he became a fugitive? The reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction eventually rose dramatically. By June 2026, the U.S. Department of State was offering up to $10 million. Yet despite the enormous reward and years of investigation, El Porky remains a fugitive. Where could he be? What is known about the investigation?
