This week, Steven and Raven investigate Episode 8, “Your Baggage,” as the island’s past comes walking back into the present and the Boogeyman raises some very uncomfortable questions.

Raven digs into the characters, their baggage, and the choices that continue to follow them, while Steven heads down another mythological rabbit hole: golems, The X-Files, and the centuries-old idea of creating—or reanimating—something for a specific purpose.

But there may be an even simpler explanation.

What if the Boogeyman never died?

Was he a man? A monster? Something created by the island? Or could Widow’s Bay’s monsters serve a purpose we still don’t understand?
