Talking politics, news, or current events with your immediate family is always painful... or is it? A mother-son duo looks to break the trope that a parent and child, while two generations apart, can't enjoy political discourse together.

Both having long work commutes and getting sick of listening to music and other podcasts, a phone call while sitting in rush hour Boston traffic became the best way to pass the time.

Jackson, a 27-year-old Gen Z'er, and a chronically online newshound and political junkie finally got his mom, Leigh, a 59 -year-old Gen X'er, up to speed on the chaos of the American political landscape of the early 2020's. The conversation quickly went from the "how was your day?" to a "Oh my god, did you HEAR" type of chat as the world got crazier... or maybe we just both started noticing it more by the day.

Jobs have changed, and the commuting troubles have died down in the second half of the decade. However, the unhinged political conversations between a mother and son certainly have not.

    While Leigh may have delayed this recording by just a few hours by getting locked out of her archaic laptop when trying to enter her passwords to update... we did it!

    While a full introduction of us may happen naturally over the course of multiple episodes, we wanted to get some burning points in that we've wanted to discuss on the show over the past few months while working on a launch. Listen in to get into a little of who we are, how we got here, and topics of interest in the current American political landscape.
