From international bestselling author Anthony Horowitz (Midsummer murders, Foyles war, Alex Rider, Hawthorne) and Sarah Naughton, comes a trilogy featuring one of literatures most famous characters. Immerse yourself in the world of Sherlock Holmes, like you have never heard it before. The Red Circle, is the first installment of the trilogy 'Becoming Sherlock', set in a dystopian London in the near future. At the same time as a passenger plane goes down in central London, Dr. Watson finds a man naked and beaten on the street. The man has no memory of his past but seems to have exceptional skills of deduction. This is the start of a mystery that unravels rapidly with one burning question at its heart: Who is Sherlock Holmes? What listeners have said: -- 'Tremendous read, a unique time and setting for Mr Holmes and Doc Watson. Well worth a read. The uniqueness and individuality of the time period, a wonderful mergence of past and future!' -- 'Brilliant it's like opening a box of chocolates.... We need many more books in this series and we need them now......just love this series it's like open a box of chocolates on the sofa....comforting and enjoyable ... just get it.' -- 'Fabulous job! Now we need another trilogy please. Original approach. Great dynamics and intelligent writing by Naughton. Alfred Enoch does an outstanding job on the narration.' -- 'Wonderful in every aspect Everything about this book and its narrative is wonderful: the story is compelling and well paced, the characters are rounded and interesting, the dystopian world plausibly imagined, and the narration by Albert Enoch is perfect and perfectly suited to the tale. Onwards to the next in the series!'
