I reaaallllyyy liked the story and this mountain cabin atmosphere it gave . I don't think that the point was only to find the murder but how f-up a life can be. would prefer a happier ending but again, I don't think that was either the point or focus. Love that a the characters had a purpose.

because it’s wonderfully read again by Kathleen Early … Good story but not very surprising at all. If you pay a little attention the outcome is pretty clear from the beginning. The twists and turns don’t feel like actual twists and turns. A little too predictable..

I am a big fan of the Will Trent Series, so I enjoyed this book. I love Early’s performance. Sometimes voice actors can sound somewhat whiney and annoying in some characters, but not Early. I am very happy with her reading this book! Thank you 💜
