Hier ist recht schnell klar worum es geht und wer der Gegner ist. Doch die Gegner sind nicht so unheimlich und bedrohlich wie im vorangegangenen Werk. Der französische Graf ist nicht wie der unheimliche Zamacona. Auch die epische Schlacht am Ende wirkt nicht so bedrohlich wie das Ende bei NKai.
Es ist kein schlechtes Hörbuch. Elisabeth Klett macht ihren Job gut, wobei einige Charaktere nicht so gut getroffen sind wie andere.
Die Geschichte ist schwächer als die des vorherigen Buches.
Aber es macht Spass und ich werde es nochmal hören. Aber die Rache des N'Kai habe ich bereits 3mal gehört und würde es eher wieder hören als dieses.
