It is one of the most spectacular books I read. Ever. And one of the most brutal too.
I read it for the fifth time or so. And now I could hear it for the first time, too. Dan's narration is to the point and very intense.
And here you go.
This book is exceptional. In its brutality and intensity. Like a movie, the plot runs in front of your inner eye.
Hold on tight, it's a roller coaster ride. And no one is going through this trip unscathed. How could they?
I appreciate to the highest degree the narrator's courage to interpret and perform this very unusual work. It is by no means easy to read and I think it's even harder to narrate. There were certainly moments of doubts. I think it takes a lot of confidence to do it. I personally like the implementation of this second part even better than the first one. I have the feeling that Dan has arrived and feels somehow more comfortable. It's a great performance. Respect for that. And I hope so much that he stays true to us until the end of the Don't series. Thank you!
For readers who like it darker. Highly recommended!
