Without being a specialist on AI there is some common knowledge about the potential issues it poses and the way there is no real plan for the direction it will take since it's already in our lives.
This book introduces the idea of a rather "friendly" outlook with an AI still interested in the existence of the human race. In my humble opinion, I think that's a very nice and soft version of how things could go.
But the underlying sinister turn is also already lurking, which is why I really enjoyed listening to it. Actually, it seems like a story that could happen to humanity sooner rather than later. Very interesting and realistically chilling.
I am not so happy with the narrator who sounds very monotonous and somehow reads all sentences like hacking them into pieces or chunks. It made me almost give up, and I truly wish there was another narrator reading the next parts.
But because it's a great story I certainly will listen to the next part. Because I am really interested how "we" are going to wriggle ourselves out of this mess...
