A Walk to the Cross is a unique devotional, not intended to simply provide more information about the most sacred season of the year, but instead, it is designed to prepare our souls to see, with fresh eyes, what has become common through repetition.
The Paschal season has been hijacked by church growth movements, which have focused more on using it as a draw to increase church attendance than on celebrating it as the greatest victory day for the planet. In many places, we have created elaborate productions instead of preparing our hearts to fully embrace all that God wants to do and say to us.
A Walk to the Cross aims to shake us free from commercialized Christianity and awaken us invariably to the reason why Jesus came from heaven to earth.
