My name is Alex Black, and I've gotta say: Being the only one of my kind isn't that hard. In fact, being a Sin-Eater is actually pretty easy...unless you take into account the crown prices of the seven deadly sins, all of whom have it out for me. Everyone's got demons, right? Mine are just literal.
Everyone has an expiration date so I just take my life one day at a time. I kicked the bucket once, and if I can, I'd like to put my next dirt nap off for a while longer. With the help of my new family and my adoring partner Bane (he hates me), we were able to take down Asteroth, prince of envy. Things seemed to settle down for a bit after that, but....
There's definitely something sinister in the air lately, and even with a fate-weaving Fallen at my side I can't seem to figure out what's to come. Not that he'd warn me anyway.
My divine powers are growing but not as fast as I'd like. Each day, my battles with the demonic only remind me how painfully human I truly am. But I have a job to do and come hell or high water, I've got this.
