...as always. I've never encountered a dull and sketchy character in any of Barry's books and this one is no exception . The descriptions are vivid and make you gasp for a hot cuppa. Pair this with his uncompaired humour and you are in for a very special treat.
And right at the end: did I get a whiff of another (or rather continued) spin-off?

I found the story so shallow and boring I gave up not even halfway through it. Only the narrator did a great job, as always.
