For many people the wedding day is one of the most important days of one's life. Much effort is put into the wedding day, The financial cost and the stress of the day is huge to say the least.

However the joy of being married supersedes all the hassle of the day. Wedding days are wonderful because it is the gateway towards a wonderful married life, a time of love and sharing between two people plus the opportunity to have godly offspring.

We have to say that the wedding that the Bible recognises is the marriage of the male and female. It is on this premise that I've written this book. So the book is written towards Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve.

God's plan for marriages is that the two people the male and female remained together for life. At the time of writing this book the average divorce rate is 50% in the US and 42% in the UK, A far cry from God's original plan.

What can we do? We can absolutely and definitely pray for our marriages, beginning at the wedding day. There is a saying that people who pray together stay together.

I want us to think about the Scriptures written in this book, and then begin to pray into our lives as much as we can.

By doing this we will defeat the agenda of the devil and ensure that our marriages do not go the way of the negative statistics.
