Twitch doesn't talk as much as she does, which I deeply dislike because her dialogues don't bring anything new into the story and are pretty lame. She's dumb, makes stupid decisions and has lame dialogues (I have to mention it once again). Even though she's a social worker who literally works with juveniles preaching against drugs and reckless decisions, she does everything she tells the teens to not do. She blames him for her lack of accountability and also for literally everything bad that happens to her and around her. The whole story could've been on Twitch's and Happy's POVs. I felt that there were too many unnecessary, characters. All plot twists are interesting entirely because of Twitch, besides that, she's useless. And by the way, all plots are revealed at the very last chapter.
All three voices are enjoyable, but the males are even better, even though Twitch's voice lacks emotion in pretty much the whole book. Happy's voice is sooo good!!
Typical dynamic: The hard-hearted guy finds himself emotionally involved with a woman who is too good, perfect and sweet for him, a naive girl who falls in love with the bad guy and he reaches his redemption through her. I wanna gag.
THE TRUFFLE ON THIS BOOK: Throughout the reading, you get invested in the main core of characters: Alexa, Twitch, Happy and Michael. Which makes you relate to them. It's a rollercoaster of emotions. I would recommend this book even though isn't one of the best I've read, I also intend to read the other two book of this trilogy in the future. 4 stars.
