Good start of a new series

Very enjoyable, good story and likeable characters, I am not that keen on Dan Calley though, he reads the different characters very well, but he is not a great narrator.

Okay but terrible narrator

The story is okay, nothing to wrte home about, but grand enough for winding down.
But who told the narrator to pick that profession?
His voice goes up at the end of each and every single sentence, as if hsving to underline what a great achievement a full sentence is.
Would kill even a good book, let alone mediocre one like this one.
Don't think I'm able for another volume.
