A good continuation.
I really start to like this series alot.
Unexpected plot twists are something that's rarely done well.
Specailly as most books you can just guess what's gonna happen after 2 hours or so.
I do enjoy the cluenessness. But it's not a random whim kinda change.
It all has a deep underlaying line. All connecting together at the end.
I still wonder about the Red Mage guy. But we will get to him again soon :D.
As soon as the way to book 3 is open.

Continues at the same level
Feared it would get boring, but never mind, the story continues as exciting as the first part. The narrator continues his amazing work.

Love the storytelling
The narrator is good and you get used to it, but certainly a bit too slow for my taste. Hence me having it play speed set at 1.2x. The story itself is great. I especially like all the thoughts that went into making sure there is a sound logic to the different aspects of the book.

Ein tolles Buch.
Ich bin ein großer Fan der Geschichte und kann das 3. Hörbuch kaum erwarten. Ich mag die Beziehung zwischen Zorian und Zach und den anderen Beteiligten.
Und nach dem Schluss bin ich wirklich gespannt, wie das Problem gelöst wird!

Loved it
What a great book! The pacing picks up and we start to see more of the world. If you liked the first book you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the next one.
I also like the narration and the voices of the characters a lot.

Surprisingly good
I listened to the first and second book one right after the other and have to say, that I am really invested by now.
It is essentially the same month over and over again, but many new things constantly come up and increase the tension. Once one issue seems to be solved, there are already 3 more secrets waiting around the corner.
I like how the MC progresses, not only with regard to his magical skills, but also his personality development. And I love the relationship between Zorian and Zach and also how Zorian‘s relationship to his sister develops.
While I had to get used to the narrator at first, I now don’t want to miss his „Zorian impression“.
I am looking forward to arc three!

feels like being in a time loop yourself
The time loop thing gets boring faster than you think. Should just get on with it and get into really plot progress
