Created in the Emperor's own image, the primarchs had long thought themselves to be princes of the universe and masters of their own destiny - they led the Space Marine Legions in glorious conquest of the galaxy, and no enemy of the Imperium could stand against them. However, even amongst this legendary brotherhood, the seeds of dissent had been sown long before the treacherous Warmaster Horus declared his grand heresy.

Find out the deepest mysteries of the primarchs. Who is in control of Fulgrim's body - him, or a daemon? What happens when the Alpha Legion fights against itself? Just what secrets is the Lion keeping? And what could the tragic Ferrus Manus have done to prevent himself from becoming a head shorter?

I expected too here a shortstory about every primarch, but it was only about 4. Fulgrim, Lionel Johnson, Ferrus Manus and Omegon.

Too few primarchs.

i skipped the iron hands one cause it was super boring, but hey if u rly like them for some reason u could see it differently. While I thought I'll like the emperors children one the most, the sheer quality of the narrator for the alpha legion one took my breath away. Oh yeah and the writing is pretty good mostly, just the iron hands bit and a few frankly contrived elements from the emperors children and dark angels stories hold it back for me, still there's enough interesting and unique stuff here to be worth a listen.

a mostly worthwhile anthology

Anyone who hates Eidolon should listen to this.
So only for this I would recommend this.

Very good
