Henri Vasel has perfected the art of people-pleasing.

He's a good student, a fair hockey player, and has a group of friends he'd do anything for. He's happy. Or, rather, as happy as he can be when he has a class with the one person he can't seem to please at South Carolina University.

Atlas Kaiser hates a lot of things, but right now he hates Henri Vasel the most. He doesn't want to have to stare at his perfect face or listen to his adorable German accent. He wants to be left alone. Unfortunately, they're partnered together for the semester so he'll have to grit his teeth and try to make it work.

Animosity morphs into a tentative friendship, which eventually leads to more. But while Atlas doesn't trust their budding relationship, Henri wants more.

lovely story. realistic and contemporary. Great narrators. Highly recommend listening to this audiobook. Henry and Atlas are great characters.

love this series

Sadly I thought the narrator of Atlas was lacking. Most of the time it was really monotonous, when he narrated the parts Henri was speaking in Altas' pov, it was downright robotic. The narrator of Henri did a really great job capturing his accent, bringing the characters to life and with that pulling the weight of the audiobook for me.

Henri deserves better

the storry was OK. But to vanilla foe me. The narrator of Atlas was horrible he made Vess sound like he was retarded and the German accend sounded more lake a AI voice. i think the author wanted Vess to appear Authistic but somehow he came across stupid/naive nearly retarded. The narrator of Vess was great.

horrible narrator for Atlas

I love the narration of Iggy Thoma, but the other narrator was terrible.. couldn't transport the story & feelings

Story & one narrator top, one narrator flop
