As his Homo Novus project comes to fruition, Fabius Bile faces a new threat - the dreaded haemonculi of the Thirteen Scars. Can he marshal his forces to protect his creations, or are the New Men doomed to death?

Listen to it because: discover what happens when you cross the Haemonculus covens...and what lengths Fabius Bile will go to in order to survive their deadly attentions.

The story: in the centuries since his return from Commorragh, Fabius Bile has distanced himself from the affairs of friend and foe, content only to oversee the cruel evolution of his New Men. But when his creations are threatened by the monstrous haemonculi of the Thirteen Scars, the Manflayer is forced to seek out new allies and old enemies alike in an effort to preserve all that he has built. Homo Novus must survive...even if Fabius Bile must die to ensure it.

What a fantastic end to a fantastic triologie, I hope we get more Fabius Bile at some point

Bile by name Bile by nature

These books made me love this character more and more with each book, you shouldn't feel sympathy towards this man but you just do, just like in the night lords trilogy, great ending to a great trilogy 🫀

I love Fabius Bile

Amazing ending to the amazing series of books shame there aren't as many interesting chaos characters as Fabius in the current setting, The story is very good and it shows how Desperate Fabius' bile is to protect his work. The speaker did a really good job of explaining this even though I do think sometimes there are way too many details that are not needed since one can assume if you are listening to this you already have some base knowledge about Fabius bile and the warhammer40k Universe.

Regardless I can only recommend if you are into chaos space marine Adventures and very well written chaos space marines that are fully aware of what they are and they are so well written that you begin to like them, even tough they are very depraved and just wrong moraly. Its a solid 4/5

Very good ending

... and his merry band of CHAOS MUTANTS!
Well it's somewhere in between a Sitcom and a Road Movie - with Fabius Bile as the twisted Daddy of a very twisted family. And of course dark Eldar. And lots of not-quite body horror.

I really appreciated an in-depth view of the interactions between traitor legions, demons and all the other things in the Eye of Terror. Completely ignoring the Imperium gave the story a really special feel to it. Also, this is the first time I got to sympathize with noise marines, as for once they did not get reduced to "LC Eidolon is really weird and gross".

Yes, this is worth your time if you like Chaos. And a bit of (PG-level) Slaanesh.

The quintessential evil genius...

Again a good book which show characters beyond the usual imperial cast. The voice actor did also a great job in portraying all the different characters.

Awesome
