Michael Sato is used to fighting.
An undersized defenseman, Mike had to be tough, clawing his way up from the minors by taking down one ferocious player at a time. No way is he going to lose his spot on the league roster, especially not by giving in to his attraction to a hot, infuriating rival.

The characters are well developed, but it would have been nice to read about them actually overcoming all the heavy stuff, not just going down.

both characters are intense, from what I've seen and read so far typical hockey players when it comes to dedication to their sport. i didn't expect to love them so much, but i did. this author is fantastic. third time reading a story of Ari, third time full 5 stars!
