When mysterious texts suddenly appear on her phone--her sister Margaret has gone missing and someone is trying to steal the family ranch--Cate wonders, "Who is trying to lure me back home…and why?" There is only one sure way to find out.

B.E. Jackson grew up among storytellers—actors, writers, and musicians. An award-winning short story writer and magazine editor, she lives with her husband in a verdant part of rural Arizona, where she derives her inspiration from the animals she cares for and the natural terrain. She is currently working on two more Tiger Cate novels.
