Darkness begins to engulf the galaxy, planet by planet, spreading the sinking fear that comes with fighting a losing war. That’s how Clone Wars Gambit opens, with Stealth. Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi team up after a costly battle for the planet Kothlis, with Anakin posing as a long-lost native of Lanteeb, an impoverished planet on the Outer Rim. The two unknowingly draw attention to themselves, however, and discover the dark secret of Lok Durd, a scientist working to create a devastating bioweapon. Suddenly, they're in the eye of the storm—and ready to fight to win.  

In Siege, war between the Separatist Alliance and the Republic is brimming beneath the surface. Yoda’s calling on the powers of the Jedi Council, the Guardians' communications are jammed up, and there's a traitor at the helm of the Republic's government. The Separatists have blockaded Lanteeb while the finishing touches are being put on Durd's horrifying weapon. Anakin and Obi-Wan must liberate Lanteeb or watch the galaxy be destroyed.    

Clone Wars Gambit focuses on the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan, digging deep into their thoughts, conversations, and actions.
