Broken Hill High Series

Nate Ryder has made it his mission to make my life a living hell and now my parents expect me to go and live with the guy for the foreseeable future. I'd rather gouge out my eyes with a toothpick than live with him and his little brother, Jesse. Nate Ryder is a bad boy through and through. He's the devil and he knows it. Now that devil is my roommate. This is going to be one bumpy ride. 

"Go live with Nate Ryder," they said. "Everything will be fine," they said. Are they nuts? Nate Ryder has been the bane of my existence for the past five years. He's made it his personal mission to make my life a living hell and now my parents expect me to go and live with the guy for the foreseeable future. No thanks. I'd rather gouge out my eyes with a toothpick than live with him and his little brother, Jesse. Only problem is, they have my parents wrapped around their little fingers, thinking they're the good little boys they pretend to be.

I never expected Nate Ryder to change my life the way he did. Hell, I never expected to fall in love with the one guy who made my life a living hell for five years, but here I am. He's the perfect example of something I never knew I needed. He's my rock. My salvation. He's exactly what I need when my life goes up in flames. I thought the worst was over. I thought I was safe to move on from the horrors of the past few weeks, but I have never been so wrong.  

Nate Ryder has been the center of my world for the past few months. He's cared for me, cherished me, and shown me a love I never even imagined could be real. He was my rock when my father left and my voice when I didn't have one. He was once my bully but now holds my heart in the palm of his hands, along with it the power to destroy me. We've faced down every threat imaginable, and every single time, we've come out on top. But what happens when the threat is coming from within? What happens when our world literally goes up in flames and threatens to take my heart away?  

Nate was supposed to be the reason I wake up in the morning, until he took that reason away. Now, I'm left feeling like an empty shell of the girl I used to be. He's going to come running back, and when he does I'm going to make him work for it. Thank God I have my girls and Jesse—without them I'd be lost. Oh, and I have Ashley Samuels and Phoenix Reilly keeping my mind busy. They better watch out because I've got nothing else to lose and revenge will be sweet.

I have never been at such a low. School work? Stuff it. Manners? Get screwed. Being a decent human being? Over my dead body. And it's all because of him. College? How did this happen? One minute I'm starting my senior year of high school and the next, I'm in college. Let me repeat myself. How did this happen? I can't even begin to understand the crazy amounts of drama I've suffered through over the past 12 months, but I've never been so happy to say it's over. I'm more than ready for this next step in my life. I came out of my senior year with Nate by my side and a future to start building.
