Dead knights washing up on the shoreline? Not so much. When a figure dressed like he’s from Arthurian England winds up in the city morgue, Chloe sets out to investigate. Soon she hears rumors telling of a very special sword reported to be in the city. The mighty Excalibur has reached New England.

Cue up a fresh case for Sergeant Chloe Mayfield, but if she thought the last one was fraught with danger, she’s going to have to redefine her terminology. If it were not bad enough that she has to negotiate rogue gunmen, sword-wielding mercenaries, and a famous monster hunter, she has enemies within Boston PD to contend with, at least one of whom thinks their life would be easier if she were dead.
