While toasting Mother's Day with friends, Darby and Kara realized that through conversation and connection you do not have to feel alone in Failure.  Find the people who will support you when you need, give you advice when you want it, and just be with you when you feel alone.  Know that when you fail you are not a failure.

Darby and Kara discuss the power of manifestation and how it can be applied in your life. This idea of manifesting is bringing something  tangible into your life through belief and making it a reality. Positive thinking can change our whole prospective on things and Alistair is here to share his thoughts on this and how it could be another tool in our journey of happiness.
Alistair began acting and singing at 14 and continued his love for both through college and into  young adulthood.
In 2009 he developed an 80's cover band, The Young Guns, which put into motion the idea of developing high end, genre specific bands for events both corporate and social.

In 2005, William  a 17-year-old boy  was fighting a brain tumor for the second time in two years. From one baseball mom to another, Rally Founder and CEO Dean Crowe asked William's mother a simple question, “What can I do to help? "This situation is so past dinner.” William’s mother replied, “Raise money for childhood cancer research and fund the best research wherever it may be.”

The mission of Rally was born that day, and since that question was asked, Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit,  has awarded $25.4 million in childhood cancer research grants across the country and around the world.
Rally continues to inspire volunteers to bring awareness and raise funds for childhood cancer research and to find better treatments with less long-term side effects.

Today, Kara and Darby are talking with Elaine Kay, director of Rally Tennessee and development manager of Rally Tennessee , Mackenzie Duncan. Elaine shares her personal story of her son James and his battle with a rare pediatric cancer and we talk about what the Rally Challenge is and how Darby and her husband Lincoln have gotten involved in heading up TEAM "Fins UP" for the challenge.  Just like swimming, we want to keep moving forward in our lane to ultimately cross the finish line of life!

In this episode, we thought it would be fun to go off our normal track and listen to real life questions and issues that people have and see how we would react in those situations. We learned that no matter the question, issue, or heartache.... we all need to find a trick to keep us happy in this life. Be patient with your children, be respectful towards your parents, take responsibility for your actions, and always have faith and a big heart to get through the toughest of times! Its not easy, but if we lean on each other and try our best to be happy, I think we will be better for it! 

If you haven't seen the Netflix Documentary STUTZ by Jonah Hill...stop what you are doing, and go now.  It is an incredible documentary about Jonah Hill's therapist, Phil Stutz.  It will change your life by giving you the tools to become vulnerable and honest with yourself. 

Like the documentary, Darby and Kara set out to just explain the tools, but through their conversations it became so much more.
