  • "The Time of Your Stay" | 1 Peter 1 Vs 17-21 - Living Hope
    Feb 22 2026
Travel has a way of reminding you fast that you are not home. Peter uses that same idea to wake us up spiritually. In 1 Peter 1 Vs 17-21, we’re reminded that believers live here on a temporary stay, under a Father who is also an impartial Judge. That reality produces reverent fear, not panic, and it strengthens assurance while shaping holy living. This passage also re-centres us on what it cost to save us. We weren’t redeemed with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, the spotless Lamb. And because Jesus was foreordained, revealed, raised, and glorified, our faith and hope are anchored in God. So during the time of our stay, we live alert, we redeem the time, we resist assimilation, and we walk like people headed for glory.

  • “Breaking the Mold” | 1 Peter 1 Vs 14-16 - Living Hope
    Feb 15 2026
What is shaping your life right now? In this message, we look at 1 Peter 1 Vs 14-16 and the call to holiness through the lens of family resemblance. Peter reminds us that holiness is not about religious performance or earning God’s love. It’s about belonging. As obedient children, we are called out of our former desires and into a new pattern shaped by the holiness of our Father. This sermon walks through what it means to have a new family, new desires, and a new pattern—and why breaking the old mold starts with the gospel.

  • “Hope Fully” | 1 Peter 1 Vs 13 - Living Hope
    Feb 8 2026
We live in a world that constantly fights for our attention—notifications, media, entertainment, and endless noise. In 1 Peter 1 Vs 13, Peter gives a clear command for distracted believers in difficult times: hope fully in grace. This message reminds us that God’s grace isn’t just where we started—it’s where our confidence stays, all the way to the return of Jesus. We’ll talk about how to strengthen that hope by girding the mind (getting our thoughts focused and ready) and by being sober (clear-headed, self-controlled, and spiritually alert) so our hope stays anchored when life gets loud and hard.
