This time I am in east Essex St Peter's chapel. I tried to walk south and straight away came to an abrupt end.

So now I'm walking north towards Mersey Island

After a mixed bag of both success and challenges provided by the wind, I have followed up with this extra episode to talk through some basic points about the Mam Tor hike.

Firstly, I would recommend it to anyone, it wasn't difficult and the views are rewarding and spectacular in equal measure. If you walk from Edale via the Tor to Hope village, then you will trek into a nice space with a couple of good tea rooms.

From the ridge of Mam Tor in the peak district.

I walked from Mam Tor to Hope village along the ridge on a glorious spring day up north. Then drove back to London.

Sorry about the wind, also there is 2 seconds of silence I had to cut out because a northern woman swore at her dog.

After three attempts over a period of 4 days to record this, I have a version that I can publish. I don't usually make this many mistakes. To be fair to myself, it was an attempt at making a video cross over and that is where it went wrong.
