Über diesen Titel

“here’s the dill, pickle” is a podcast for real people having real thoughts about real life. this show lives at the intersection of mindset, motherhood, entrepreneurship, love, hope, faith, humor, and the everyday mental gymnastics we all have to perform on a daily basis. some episodes start as voice memos. some turn into deep reflections. some are funny, some are tender, some are both, and some might include a little spontaneous singing. no scripts. no polish. just honest thoughts, fresh perspective, and large dose of the real dill, pickle.Kylie Evans Sozialwissenschaften
  • the post-vacation spiral, existential dread, and choosing love anyway
    Feb 20 2026

you ever come back from a beautiful, restful vacation and somehow feel… worse? yeah. same. in this episode i’m unpacking the emotional whiplash of going from ocean air and gratitude to real life, real fears, and the very real question of how we keep dreaming, building, and showing up when the world feels heavy.

this is a messy, honest check-in about hyperawareness, empathy fatigue, the temptation to numb out, and the strange tension between wanting to do more for humanity while also just trying to live your tiny little life, run your business, and remember to drink water. i’m talking purpose, anger, love, burnout, and why sometimes the bravest thing we can do is keep creating anyway.

if you’ve been feeling ungrounded, overwhelmed, or like you’re stuck between hope and “what is even happening,” this one’s for you. consider it less of a lecture and more of a voice memo from a friend asking, hey… you okay?

  • hold on for one more day (then another day after that)
    Feb 5 2026

this episode is me catching my breath in real time.

the last few months have been uncharted territory—exhausting, humbling, beautiful, uncomfortable—all at once. and lately, it feels like the rubber has finally met the road.

i talk about what it’s like to keep showing up when everything feels hard, how vulnerability and asking for help changed me, and why i never believed the low point was the end of the story.

this is about trusting that what goes down must come up, believing your big break is closer than it looks, and reminding yourself to hold on for one more day—and then one more after that.

because sometimes the wings really do start to sprout right when you think you’ll be trapped in your cocoon forever...

  • am i still allowed to feel joy?
    Jan 28 2026

this episode is basically me asking an honest question:

am i still allowed to feel joy when everything feels so heavy?

i talk about why celebrating yourself, creating, laughing, and feeling happiness in uncertain times isn’t denial or ignorance—and why feeling guilty for being happy doesn’t actually serve anyone.

this is a reflection on how joy can be a form of resistance, how creativity keeps us human, and why continuing to live fully might be part of the work.

because the world doesn’t need less joy...

it needs people who know how to protect it—even when things feel hard.
