  • Episode 3: An assessment of women's position in today's economic governance structures in Zimbabwe
    Dec 13 2021
Zimbabwe's economy has moved to the informal sector, governance systems are yet to adjust to the new reality. Women being the majority of players in the sector have been technically excluded from economic governance, whenever plans are devised to improve the situation of women in the sector, efforts are put on technical aspects such as access to finance, however this episode sheds light on seemingly small issues but these are rights issues and dignity issues which are at the core of women's participation in economic governance as well as other sectors of life. Search for #HowFar on all social media platforms to join the struggle for social and economic justice. The show was produced by Abel Sibanda. Wendy Makaza is the executive producer. With technical support from Receive Nyamutamba, Believe Marufu and Nyashadzashe Dube. This was brought to you by the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD) together with ActionAid Zimbabwe (ActionAid Zimbabwe).
