When we are living our regular lives and a stranger's story stops us in our tracks, what do we do? That happened to me during a routine grocery run during a holiday. The beautiful woman cashier was swiping my items and placing them in bags. A casual question turned into a shocking story.

Sometimes when we least expect it, our past can jump up and bite us in the back-side. A casual of grocery shopping and an unexpected "Hello Kim", then next thing I knew, I was sitting in my car with tears streaming. An unexpected song brought relief and a reminder that sometimes healing takes place where we least expect it.
