What happens to the stories of our childhood when we're lying in bed alone at night waiting for sleep? When the people and places start to roll around in our minds. Getting stretched... distorted... and suddenly, the shadows in the darkest corners have a face... In each episode of Where Does the Light Go?, we will retell a story from childhood: sharpening the edges, filling in the blanks, and sometimes reimagining it completely, chasing it to the place where it lives in your mind when the lights go out.SparkPlug Productions Kunst Unterhaltung & Darstellende Künste
  • The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
    Oct 28 2019

We're breaking from our regular format because this is a special, spooky time of year and we wanted to give you a bit of a treat. Instead of retelling, we are pleased to present as written (with only a little editing) the classic Halloween tale: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was edited, and read by Rebekkah Ross featuring Christopher Rozzi, and was written by Washington Irving. Our theme music is by Christopher Rozzi, and performed by Pauline Miller. Additional music and sound effects licensed by the fine folks at Epidemic Sound.
