In the last couple podcasts, I discussed some of the no-no’s, what not to do. I know that if you are newer to investing or trading, or if you just listen to the news or look up fundamentals, you have to be a little shocked by what I told you the last couple of podcasts. If you can’t listen to news or if you can’t look at fundamentals, how do you make money? The answer is very simple. You let everyone else do that and you look at the synthesis of what happened. Everybody gets together in the open auction of the stock market and they have all decided, what they like or don’t like and they battle it out. For the most part it’s just traders battling with traders and these are meaningless battles. This is the noise. The vast majority of market moves are all just noise. Randomness. Every once in a while, something happens where the tide turns and the pattern becomes very readable. That is what this is about.

I have so many topics to discuss, it was difficult to pick the first actual podcast episode. The market is slanted against new people in ways you wouldn’t believe. If you have been trying to learn how to trade stocks or you already know this.

You may even think the market is “rigged”. (No worries, it is not). If you are brand-new, you will probably encounter this soon. So, I feel episode topics should involve a blend of what not to do, or what to look out for, as well as trying to put everyone on the right path to learning how to make money for themselves in the US stock market.

Whether you want to manage your own long-term investments (you should) or whether you want to make some extra income daytrading. The market is a great opportunity if you know how to handle it. Welcome to, “Oh Those Fundamentals” which discusses how you should use or not use fundamentals in your analysis of stocks with the goal that we all should have, of making money.
