  • "Get the Words Off the Screen! I'm NOT reading THAT!" (Part 2)
    Dec 16 2022

In the second part of the holiday double feature, Shaun gets called out by Twitch Recap for being a self-groupie, cancels the 4000 word character limit for Twitter, and talks SZA'S new album "SOS", Lana Del Rey's new single and forthcoming record "Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd?", and Paramore's "The News" in the weekly music recap.

Wishing the listener a lovely holiday and a prosperous new year in 2023!

  • "Daddy & Pup Raw-deer Christmas" (Part 1)
    Dec 14 2022

In this (somewhat) special two-part episode before the holidays, Shaun discusses El*n [redacted] Musk's Botgate, Taylor Swift's birthday, the rumored 1989 re-release, and Lindsay Lohan's new Christmas movie on Netflix: Falling for Christmas. The movie -- starring Lohan as an airhead heiress turned amnesiac -- weirdly has human traffick-y vibes but also has the gay ship not enough people are talking about! In a film where I could not care less about the leads having zero romantic chemistry (and a creepy undertone à la Chris Pratt's "Passengers"), I found hope in the daddy/pup pairing of her fiancé and his burly (and slightly problematic) savior in the unforgiving midwinter that would give even "Brokeback Mountain" a run for its gay for pay money...only for them not to commit.

  • "XOXO, Lensa Girl"
    Dec 7 2022
The wait is over! The (in)famous Gossip Girl 2021 reboot/revival/sequel series has premiered the first two episodes of its sophomore season and the thoughts are thought-ing! We go over a short review of the first season (which feels like it came out forever ago now), discuss the HBO Max drop from this past Thursday, and rundown some expectations/predictions for the season. Additionally, enjoy a completely unsolicited rant about A.I. art and its negative impact on the landscape of internet content creation. A.I. be damned!
