  • EMOTIONS | 1 Kings 19:1-15 | Pastor Josh Evans
    Jan 26 2026

In our new series EMOTIONS, we’re having an honest conversation about the feelings we all experience... and what the Bible actually says about them.

This week, we focus on depression. Depression is real, complex, and Christians are not exempt from it. From 1 Kings 19:1–15, we look at the story of Elijah and see that even a faithful prophet struggled with fear, exhaustion, and discouragement. Through his life, we learn that depression can affect us emotionally, spiritually, and physically - and that God meets us in all three.

    In this message, we explore:

+How fear and burnout contribute to depression

+Why spiritual victory doesn’t make us immune

+Where true strength and peace are found in God The church should be the safest place to talk about what we’re feeling.

You are not alone - and God cares deeply about your inner life. If this message encourages you: Like, share, and comment below to engage with your church family!

  • Supporting the Mission of God | Philippians 4:14-23 | Pastor Josh Evans
    Jan 20 2026

Joy is not found in circumstances, possessions, or comfort. Joy is found in supporting the mission of God. 🙌

In this message concluding our Giving > Receiving series, we look at Philippians 4 and discover why generosity is such a powerful source of joy in the life of a believer. Writing from a prison cell, the Apostle Paul thanks the church at Philippi for their faithful support and reminds them that giving to God’s work is never wasted.

This message walks through four reasons Scripture shows us that joy is found in giving to the mission of God:

    • Giving is commended and pleases God 🤍

    • Giving is an eternal investment ⏳

    • Giving is rewarded by God 🙏

    • Giving spreads the Gospel to people far from Him 🌍

The church at Philippi modeled sacrificial generosity, partnering with Paul for years so the Gospel could go further than they ever could themselves. Their giving reached even into Caesar’s household, proving that generosity fuels Gospel impact.

When we give, we are not simply meeting needs. We are partnering in God’s mission, storing up eternal fruit, and helping others experience the grace of Jesus that has changed our own lives.

  • The Heart of Giving | 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 | Pastor Josh Evans
    Jan 12 2026

Giving / Receiving | The Heart of Giving

In this message, we continue our Giving / Receiving series by focusing on the heart behind our giving. Scripture reminds us that generosity is not about the amount we give, but the heart in which we give. God does not need our money - He wants our hearts.

Jesus illustrates this truth through the widow who gave two small coins, showing that sacrificial, faith-filled giving matters more than impressive amounts. The Apostle Paul builds on this in 2 Corinthians 9, teaching that cheerful giving flows from a heart transformed by the Gospel, not from obligation or pressure.

    This message explores:

-Why giving is a heart issue, not a numbers issue

-What it means to be a cheerful giver

-The spiritual principle of sowing and reaping

-Why generosity is something God wants for us, not from us

-How we can trust God to supply as we give faithfully

When we give with joy and faith, God produces far more in our lives than money alone could ever provide. The truth remains - you cannot out-give God.

    📖 Scripture: Acts 20:35, Mark 12, Luke 21, 2 Corinthians 9

  • God's View of Giving | 1 Cor. 16:1-4 | Pastor Josh Evans
    Jan 5 2026

Giving>Receiving is a series that explores what Scripture really says about money - not as a source of guilt or pressure, but as a reflection of the heart.

Through Paul’s teaching to the church at Corinth, this series reveals God’s desire for His people to be generous, disciplined, and gracious with what He has entrusted to them. Giving is more than an action - it is a mindset shaped by the gospel. God doesn’t need our money; He wants our hearts.

You’ll discover the difference between giving and generosity, why intentional and disciplined giving matters, how tithing serves as a baseline of faith, and why Christian giving is an act of grace rather than obligation.

Ultimately, this series challenges believers to ask an honest question - if your money could talk, what would it say about your heart? Learn how aligning your finances with your faith leads to freedom and deeper trust in God.

The Road to Bethlehem | The Shepherds

In this message from our Christmas series Road to Bethlehem, we step into the story through the eyes of the shepherds. Considered the lowest in society and often overlooked, they were ordinary people doing ordinary work. Yet God chose them first to hear the good news of Christ’s birth. Through their story, we see that God comes to nobodies, makes them somebodies, and entrusts them with a message that is meant for everybody.

📘 The Road to Bethlehem - Episode 1: The Prophets

Before Mary and Joseph ever began their journey… before the angels appeared to the shepherds… the road to Bethlehem was already being paved by the Old Testament prophets.

In this episode, we look through the lens of Isaiah, who delivered a breathtaking promise to one of the most unlikely recipients: King Ahaz - a king who wasn’t walking with God at all. So why did God give him the announcement of a coming Messiah?

Because God comes to us, even when we aren’t looking for Him. Because His faithfulness isn’t dependent on ours. And because the sign He promised - the virgin birth - would become one of the clearest demonstrations of His power, sovereignty, and love.

Join us as we explore how prophecy points the way to Bethlehem and sets the stage for the greatest arrival in history.
