The Bible is clear that souls belong to God, yet allegiance can be surrendered. When wealth, success, or comfort is loved above obedience to God, an exchange takes place—not of ownership, but of loyalty. Scripture reveals that the world system operates under a spiritual power opposed to God, and when compromise is normalized, the soul drifts while the conscience grows silent.
This is not a message of condemnation, but of clarity. Jesus did not warn to frighten, but to rescue. The gospel does not call us to poverty, but to proper lordship. It does not reject success, but it exposes false masters. And it does not hide the reality of judgment, because only truth produces genuine repentance and lasting freedom.
