    Alright, let's talk about something that I see all the dang time, especially with the women that I work with. It's this idea of playing small. Shrinking yourself. Dumbing it down so that you don't make other people uncomfortable.

    Let me be real clear about this. That has to STOP.

    Your bigness, your ambition, . they are not the problem. The problem is the environment or the people around you that can't handle your light or have chosen to dim theirs so in essence, you are too BRIGHT.

    This greatness within you is part of God's plan. It's why there's such a fight around you—because anything great that God has planned will face adversity. There will always be those who reject your growth, misunderstand your words, or even wish to silence your voice all together

    To silence you when your next words could transform the world, disrupt the status quo, uplift, and break barriers or even yes, call them out on things they need to work on. Their own conviction. Yes, it may ruffle feathers and shatter glass, but that may be exactly what you were designed to do.

    You know what I'm talking about. You get a win, a big client, a promotion, an amazing piece of feedback... and you hesitate to share it because you don't want to sound like you're bragging.

    Whose permission are you waiting for? I'm giving it to you right now. Stop it.

    The world does not need another person playing in the shalalaal-low (Yahl know what song that it! - Love Lady Gaga.), all because they're afraid to make waves. Or stand strong and be great

    In our times the world needs your unique, brilliant, unapologetic self. Dimming your light doesn't serve you, it doesn't serve your family, it sure doesn't serve your bank account.

    So here's your assignment. I want you to identify one area this week, just one, where you have been shrinking. And I want you to consciously choose to take up space instead. Share the win. Launch the thing. Speak up in the meeting. Whatever it is for you.

    Your bigness is a gift. Stop trying to return it. Own it. And Wear it!
