In addition, his will to run again was weak. However, there was a dark storm approaching. With World War 2 starting to break out, Franklin realized his people needed a strong leader to guide them through the treacherous waters. Not only would the Americans need him, but nations all across the world needed a strong leader to fight against tyranny.
