All of our minds carry memories that remain with us for our entire lives. There are things that happen in our youth that change our lives for an eternity. Camping ministries have been around for many years and they have had a huge impact on kids and adults alike. People of all ages have been served and reached through camping.

On today's program, Dean will visit with a friend who spent much of his childhood at the same camp that he grew up with. Both men and their families were touched by the outdoor experiences as well as those that cared for the campers year after year.

The daily lives of most military personnel, many adults and even some children, have a mission and a purpose. Unfortunately, many people go through life with no mission or purpose. These are lives that have no godly direction.

On this week's program, we will meet a man who served our nation for over 30 years with a purpose and a mission each day for the well being of our nation. When he finished his career in the military, he quickly realized that he no longer had a mission to live out. Through the calling of the Lord, he knew that there was still work to be done.

In our world, you have a hard time finding much of any kind of hope to carry a person through hard times. There are a lot of false hopes everywhere we look. Things look good on the surface, but when times get hard, we try to rest on these false hopes and the things we were resting on crash under the pressure. What we find in the end is there is only one true hope that can be counted on when the hardest of times comes down on us.

On today's program, we will meet a man and his wife who have dealt with a terrible challenge for over 30 years and where he found a hope that has held him up through the worst of times in his life.

It's been said that our days our numbered and the Bible speaks of it throughout the scriptures. God has our lives in His hands from before we were born until the day comes and He calls us home. There are no guarantees that we will live a long life, but we need to make the best of the time that we do have.

On today's program, we will meet a father and son who work together in the sportfishing industry and are living out their life's passion. They have a business serving the fishermen and women with the best gear available for the sport of fishing. But before this endeavor began, there were hard times; times of questioning the future. But God's hand was in the middle of the story, and His ways are always the best ways, and this family lived that out.

One of the best known scriptures in the entire Bible comes from Matthew 4:19 where Jesus calls Simon and Adrew to follow Him. Jesus says, "Come unto Me and I will make you fishers of men". From the very first day of Jesus Ministry we see that Jesus called the fishermen of His day to come alongside Him to do His work. Soon after that first call, He came across James and John as they were mending their fishing nets and called them as well. There is something special about the fishermen and new builders of our world.

Today we will hear from 4th generation net maker, fisherman and hunter who not only follows Jesus Christ but also shares Him with others through his passion for the outdoors.

God puts a calling on the life of all of His children… Life is way better when we follow His calling. Sometimes God directs us to a change of course. Whatever direction God sends us in life, we can rest assured that He is always preparing us for the future plans He has for us. There's an old saying that goes, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."

On today's program we will hear from someone that has spent nearly half his life living out his calling as the host of a hunting show on national TV. We will hear of his calling, his struggles and how God continues to use him in a very unique ministry.

Many of our guests have been deeply entrenched in hunting and fishing their entire life. It just comes naturally to them. Then there are others who didn't have anyone to show them how to enjoy the outdoor adventures and they learned on their own a little later in life.

On today's program, we will learn from a pastor what it takes to learn on your own to hunt. We'll hear of mishaps and mistakes that brought a little knowledge because of learning from your mistakes.

Many little boys dream of someday being a fireman, a professional baseball player or even maybe the president of the United States. But there aren't many that would say that they want to be a fisherman and believe that they will someday be just that.

On today's program, we will meet a man who did just that. He told everyone that he was going to make his living sportfishing when he grew up… and he did.
