  • EP100 Haunted Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe
    Mar 28 2022

In this episode Alma has a touch of laryngitis so she does her best not to sound like Bart Simpson’s auntie, to no avail.  The gals sip on a bottle of Hook Or Crook 2018 Blend and jump right into their story about the Hellfire Caves in West Wycombe in Southeast England.  Of course they delve into the history of the caves and Sir Frances Dashwood who was the overseer of the Hellfire Club that met their regularly towards the end of the 18th Century.  Whatever took place down in those caves, a sinister presence still roams its dark passages.  There are other ghosts that make their presence known to unwitting tourists on a regular basis.  Join us as we discuss this spooky location, and you know what to do, grab a drink and pull up a chair, leave the rest to us. tipsy-tales.com

  • EP99 Tragic Ghost Lovers and Old Prison Ghouls in Las Cruces
    Mar 14 2022

So, just a quick note from our sponsors, no gnats were harmed in the recording of this podcast.  Okay now that that is out of the way the gals start the evening off with a bottle of 19 Crimes Cali Red, with Snoop Dog featured on  the label with a seductive look that puts Carlene in a trance.  It may have been the combination of that and the tacos because the girls have a rip roaring time recording this episode, more ripping than roaring. Alma starts things off with her nerd facts about the Double Eagle Restaurant in Mesilla, New Mexico and it’s tragic history fit for a Shakespearean love story, but a better ghost story.  Yes, of course this place is haunted, extremely haunted.  We have a two for this episode because we also discuss the nearby Dona Ana County Courthouse and Jail  in Las Cruces, which is now closed but don’t tell that to the spirits that still inhabit this really spooky old prison. Pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink and buckle up because these two tales you have to hear to believe. tipsy-tales.com

  • EP98 The Rosewood Massacre Ghosts
    Feb 28 2022

So yeah, a day late and a dollar short with this episode, but why should these topics be confined to one month? Anyways we start things off with some hot cocoa and peppermint Schnapp’s, Liquid Thin Mints if you will, because for us it’s cold outside. Of course we can’t dive into any serious subject without a little awkward chit chat, but we jump into our main story with a quickness.  We both discuss the The Rosewood Race Massacre that occurred in what was once Rosewood, Florida beginning on New Years Day 1923. The details are brutal, and the word massacre seems insufficient to describe what happened over several days that first week of 1923.  And of course there is a catalyst that seems all too familiar to these stories, a woman who lies to save her own “fanny”. It is no wonder that ghosts still haunt this area, possibly restless spirits who are still wrestling with the guilt, or maybe some haven’t let go of the hate that binds them to this place.  Pull up a chair, or grab your earbuds and your drink of choice and join us for another sad and a spooky tale.

  • EP96 The Brown Lady Of Raynham Hall
    Jan 31 2022

For this episode the gals start things off with a shot of tequila and continue with Michelada’s and Vodka.  Alma barely survives this episode on an empty stomach so apologies in advance, but this is Tipsy Tales after all. They discuss a situation only other psychic mediums can relate to and how Carlene handled hers, and have a convo about a vivid dream Alma had with possible meanings.  They finally get into their story about The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England, and trust that Alma botches the pronunciations from beginning to end.  Raynham Hall  is haunted and the accounts are interesting and plenty, even King George IV had a visitation according to legend and and one of the better know ghost photo’s was taken on the grand staircase of this country house.  This episode was a lot of fun to record so pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink and join us for another adventure in silliness. tipsy-tales.com

  • EP95 Prohibition Ghosts at Shakers Cigar Bar
    Jan 18 2022

Alma and Carlene bring in the New Year with a shot of tequila and talk about their time apart, including Carlene’s very special news that she’s been dying to share for a few months.  You will have to tune in to hear all about it.  The gals dive into their story about a haunted bar in Milwaukee called Shaker’s Cigar Bar that serves more than liquid spirits. This place has a smorgasbord of ghost sampling from the civil war to prohibition, replete with mobsters, a murdered working girl and her jealous murderer. There is also a weird connection to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.  Grab your favorite beverage and join us for another spooky episode of Tipsy Tales Podcast. tipsy-tales.com

  • EP93 Pancho Villa, His Head, His Ghost and The Gadsden Hotel
    Dec 6 2021

After a few technical issues keep them busy the gals drink their Cherry Crush and Vodka which they both agree tastes like cough medicine.  They chit chat about podcast numbers and the weird things happening outside Carlene’s home captured on her security cameras while Alma obsesses over the static in their mic’s. They finally get to their topic for the night which is Pancho Villa and the possibility that his ghost might still roam some of the places he’d been.  One such place where his ghost has been spotted on numerous occasions is the Gadsden Hotel in Douglas Arizona, where his headless form wanders the building along with a few other spirits.  It’s a mix of history and paranormal this time around so be sure to listen in to this episode of Tipsy Tales.
