Welcome to the podcast where the world of forensic psychology meets real talk, humor, and a bit of personal journey! I’m a Masters forensic psychology student navigating the tricky path toward becoming a forensic psychologist, and while I battle my way through the challenges of the industry, I’m fulfilling a long-time goal by diving into podcasting.

This podcast is more than just a passion project—it's a chance for me to learn, rant, and grow, all while exploring the dark and twisted minds that fascinate so many of us. I’ll break down real-life true crime cases, connecting them to theories and research, and discuss what might be happening in the minds of offenders. My goal is to make this sensitive material accessible and, at times, a little more bearable, all while offering a young, fresh perspective.

As I document my experiences, frustrations, and victories on the road to gaining real-world experience in the field, I hope to offer some insight and expertise (eventually!) but also to build a space where listeners feel comfortable engaging and sharing their thoughts. I’m always open to feedback, suggestions, and even having a chat if you're interested in joining the conversation.

If you’re a fellow young postgrad, someone interested in true crime, or simply someone who enjoys a bit of humor with their psychology, this podcast is for you. I’ll be upfront—I’m new to podcasting, the equipment isn’t top-tier, but I promise it’s real, it’s raw, and it’s a fun journey. So, join me as I learn and laugh my way through it all!

    In This Episode.

In this first episode, I’m diving into who I am, why I started this podcast, and what you can expect from future episodes. As an MSc forensic psychology student, I’m navigating the complex, often frustrating road toward becoming a forensic psychologist. Along the way, I’ve got a new job on the horizon working with individuals battling substance abuse , a perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field.

I’ll talk about my experiences, the challenges of balancing academic life with real-world work, and how this podcast will serve as both a learning tool and a personal diary. Expect a mix of true crime case studies, psychological theories, and a little humor to make the tough topics more bearable. I'll break down the minds behind the crimes, explore what might be going wrong in their worlds, and discuss how psychology can help.

Join me as I navigate this journey, learn, laugh, and grow. If you're interested in forensic psychology, true crime, or just want a fresh, relatable perspective, this is the place for you. I’m also always open to feedback, questions, and potential guest chats—so let’s make this podcast a community!
